Remote control (optional)
The Walcom® TD3PRO -TD1PRO may be remotely controlled thanks to an optional remote control kit (photo 8). Thanks to these 3-button remote controls, 3 different temperature settings can be used by simply pressing the relevant buttons. We suggest you always use three different temperature during the complete paint cycle to optimise the results that can be achieved during the base application phase, the subsequent drying phase and ending with the last transparent application phase. For example, we suggest the base is applied at 42°C/109°F, then raised to 70°C/158°F to dry the base and, lastly, lowered to 50°C/122°F for the last transparent application phase.
The remote control is thus set to work at these recommended temperatures:
key 1 = 42°/109°F for the base
key 2 = 50°/122°F for the transparent
key 3 = 70°/158°F for drying
These temperatures can be changed and reset according to need in the SETPOINT menu (see paragraph “preliminary settings”) NB:
The TD3PRO -TD1PRO red indicator light will blink to confirm reception whenever a button is pressed on the remote control
Remote control button 1 is associated with Setpoint 1, button 2 with Setpoint 2 and button 3 with Setpoint 3
